The Empress started their DJ career hosting unofficial after party’s for the Chicago based party Queen at Smartbar in the spring of 2019 with the Tabernacle collection consisting of Juan aka Grizzly & Black(Kendrick Pullums), Miss Twink USA, Glamour Cadaver and Thee David Davis. Darling developed their psychedelic sound taking influence from Koop, Blue Six, Verve remixed completions, and De:Phazz. In fall of 2021 Darling played their first Queen for their popular Christmas Eve party at Gman Tavern with their duo Sw33tl0v3 tag teaming with their partner Juan a.k.a. Grizzly. Darling’s mission has been one with a strong spiritual center and allowance of universal well-being, using music to heal and unite people from various backgrounds.e.
